| Production method | It is obtained by chlorination of n-decanoic acid. Add decanoic acid to the reaction pot, and slowly add thionyl chloride dropwise below 30°C. After the reaction is eased, slowly heat to 80-90°C, and react until the hydrogen chloride gas no longer escapes. After recovering sulfoxide chloride at normal pressure, distillation under reduced pressure, and the fraction at 114-118 ℃(2.0kPa) was collected to obtain decanyl chloride. |
